Stopover, part B: London
Two days later, we took the bus back to London. I was able to see UCL (Thanks, N!) and LSE and wander around the city a bit (It was my first visit!).

[Big Ben and Westminster Abbey]
No one told me ahead of the time that the London Bridge wasn't really so much to see:

At least the excursion did give me a (somewhat distant) view of the Tower Bridge, which was what I was actually looking for:Ironically, London provided my first preview of Egyptian treasures, as the British museum has quite a large (stolen?) collection.
In the British Museum:

. [the Rosetta Stone!]

D, one of J's travel companions in Brazil, took us in and showed us a good time his part of town (Thanks, D!).

London would definitely be a lovely place to live for a while!
